Cornelis Vreedenburgh (born in Woerden in 1880, passed away in Laren in 1946) is one of my favorite painters. His Amsterdam townscapes are impressionist, colourful and attractive in terms of composition and view.
Vreedenburgh teached himself some 100 years ago how to paint. He is seen as a member of the Laren painters (in Dutch “Larense school”). He has made dozens of Amsterdam townscapes but nevertheless they are infrequently seen at auctions.
Should you consider selling a work by Vreedenburgh, please contact me. I will make you a fair offer.
Recently, I have acquired a number of paintings from Vreedenburgh exactly this way.
The painting above, would for example perfectly suit my collection !
