Recently I was offered a very nice painting by Herman Bogman Jr. This – about 80 year old painting of the famous Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam – comes from a private collection where it stayed for many years. While the painting seemed fairly ok in terms of dirt, the cleaning process still removes much dirt. This was not expected and happens to be a nice surprise.
